01. CONTEXT
Some identities are not redesigned. They are carefully evolved.
Under the editorial direction of Eugenia de la Torriente, Vogue Spain embarked on a gradual transformation, introducing change issue by issue, allowing the magazine to reinvent itself while preserving the essence that generations of readers had come to recognise.
The challenge was not to create something new. It was to create something enduring.
02. APPROACH
At the heart of this transformation was Chamberí, a bespoke typeface conceived as the foundation of a renewed visual identity. Designed by Íñigo Jerez, the typeface draws inspiration from the history of fashion lettering, Spanish typographic heritage and a contemporary interpretation of femininity. More than a font, Chamberí was imagined as a complete typographic family, capable of expressing every facet of Vogue Spain with coherence, character and elegance.
03. OUTCOME
The transformation was never abrupt. It unfolded naturally, allowing Vogue Spain to embrace a new visual language while remaining unmistakably itself. The result is an identity that feels both contemporary and timeless, proving that the most meaningful reinventions are often the most subtle ones.
