BARCELONA, APRIL 2025
01. CONTEXT
The evening began with absence. Guests crossed the swimming pools of Club Natació Barcelona and arrived at the frontón overlooking the Mediterranean. The setting felt complete, yet something essential was missing. The table had not yet appeared. No one questioned it.
What unfolded was not conceived as a dinner, but as an exercise in anticipation. A moment suspended between expectation and revelation.
02. APPROACH
We approached the experience as a gradual unveiling. Concrete plinths stood silently across the space, each carrying a lamp whose true purpose remained concealed. Only when the cocktail hour came to an end did the gesture reveal itself: a fully dressed table descended from above, aligning perfectly with the sculptural bases beneath it.
What first appeared as architecture became function. What seemed permanent became ephemeral. Surprise was not an effect. It was the narrative itself.
03. OUTCOME
The dinner became a moment people could hardly anticipate and would not easily forget. A setting defined not by spectacle, but by precision. Not by excess, but by the tension between what is seen and what is withheld.
An experience where elegance revealed itself at exactly the right moment.
