01. CONTEXT
To celebrate the collaboration between Mango and Simon Miller, the setting itself became the starting point.
Lithica, the ancient stone quarry carved into the Menorcan landscape, carries within its walls centuries of time, light and transformation. Rather than competing with its presence, the intention was to create an experience that belonged naturally to it, allowing the landscape to become an active part of the narrative.
02. APPROACH
We centred the experience around a single gesture.
A projected sun slowly travelled across the quarry walls throughout the evening, tracing the passage of time and echoing the way light has shaped this place for centuries. Nothing distracted from the surroundings. Nothing felt imposed.
The collaboration was not staged against the landscape. It was revealed through it. Light became scenography. Time became atmosphere. And the quarry itself became the protagonist.
03. OUTCOME
The result was an experience defined by simplicity and precision. An encounter where nature and design existed in quiet balance, and where the most memorable gesture was perhaps the most subtle one.
A celebration shaped not by excess, but by the ability to let beauty unfold at its own pace.
